    You can contact your State Bar and ask for referrals. There might be some law schools in your area that can provide such services.

    Pro bono work in family law is almost unheard of. The ONLY way I have heard of it happening in Georgia is if you were a victim of family violence the abuse shelter will sometimes represent you if you have police or hospital proof that you were abused. Other than that most lawyers will ask for at least a $1500 retainer.
